In Women’s Interest

Initiatives Reports on sexuality and relationships of the Poles Health Grant Art Calendar In Women’s Interest

The aim of the In Women’s Interest campaign is to encourage all women in Poland to attend regular gynaecological check-ups and to raise awareness of their right to equal access to basic healthcare services, including gynaecological and obstetric care, regardless of age, financial situation or place of residence. As a company committed to supporting women and their health, we feel a strong responsibility to take meaningful action to help remove the barriers that still prevent many women from accessing gynaecological care.

Each year, the campaign focuses on a different theme, addressing a specific challenge faced by women. Discover the topics we have explored across individual editions.

2025 – 7th Edition – Theme: “Without Exception”

As part of the 7th edition of our initiative, we set out across Poland with our mobile gynaecological clinic, visiting smaller academic towns. This year, we focused in particular on the needs of neurodivergent women and those who experience sensory or emotional challenges that can affect the quality and comfort of a gynaecological visit. All this is reflected in the campaign’s guiding message: “Without Exception”.

In this edition of In Women’s Interest, we aimed to empower patients by emphasising that their experience of a medical appointment does not depend solely on the doctor or midwife. Women can, and should, clearly communicate their needs, both in terms of interpersonal contact and preferences related to their individual sensitivities, such as touch.

Why did this year’s campaign place a particular emphasis on neurodivergent women? Data shows that they represent a growing proportion of students and young women, and these numbers are expected to continue rising.* Neurodivergent individuals are often characterised by heightened sensitivity, which can pose additional challenges, including in the context of gynaecological prevention. Research conducted for the purpose of the campaign** indicates that such women may avoid or postpone visits to the gynaecologist, and may be particularly affected by sensory overload or unfriendly interactions at reception desks.

That is why, in our mobile clinic for the 2025 edition, priority was given to an empathetic and supportive approach from medical professionals, as well as to the physical and psychological comfort of patients. The clinic was equipped with solutions designed to reduce stress and support the nervous system by minimising sensory stimuli. The Ginobus visited seven cities across Poland and attracted significant interest. Some 360 women took advantage of the free examinations.

** Research methodology: CAWI (Computer-Assisted Web Interviewing) – an online survey conducted via the research panel reaktoropinii.pl, operated by the Pollster Research Institute. Sample: a representative group of women aged 18–29, in line with the population structure provided by Statistics Poland (GUS) as part of the national census. Sample structure: controlled by age, level of education, size of place of residence and region. A total of 659 questionnaires were completed as part of the study in August 2025.
