When support is needed, our employees are always ready to be on the move. They proved this at the turn of August and September by taking part in the Poland Business Run, a charity event held in three formats: a relay race in Warsaw, individual runs across Poland, and the Kraków Walk. Entry fees collected as part of the Poland Business Run are donated to support adults and children with disabilities.
In the relay race held in Warsaw’s Bemowo district, three of our teams took part, with a total of fifteen participants representing various departments across the company.
Connected by purpose, not distance
Four additional teams showed that geography is no barrier when it comes to helping others. From 1 to 7 September, our colleagues from different regions of Poland completed their individual or group four-kilometre runs, connecting through the Poland Business Run app. In the virtual format, Gedeon Richter employees were free to run anywhere, from parks and forest trails to city streets.
First time doing the Kraków Walk
A new feature of this year’s edition was the PBR Walk, a team walk around Kraków held on 6 September. Our team, “Gedeon Richter. A Healthy Step”, took part in the event, bringing together employees from the Podkarpacie region.
Healthy help
Some of our employees were so eager to support the cause that they took part in the Poland Business Run twice, combining the virtual run with the Kraków Walk or the Warsaw relay race. They deserve special recognition for their commitment.
Their involvement highlights not only a strong willingness to help others but also a great example of how to take care of one’s own health. This is why we launched our internal initiative “Healthy Richter”. Every month, we provide our employees with new health-focused inspiration and opportunities to engage in a variety of wellbeing activities.
We would like to congratulate all our runners and walkers and thank them warmly for their dedication. Your energy and willingness to help others are the best proof that, together, we can make the world a better place, step by step and kilometre by kilometre.
Let’s continue to inspire one another!
