Reports on sexuality and relationships of the Poles
For a number of years, we have been discussing topics that truly matter – the health, relationships and sexuality of the Poles. Our social research serves as a starting point, creating space for reflection, dialogue and tangible change. Take a look at the topics we’ve explored.

Understanding Masculinity. The Reality of Men in Poland
As part of this initiative, we decided to take a closer look at men today – without grand statements but with empathy and genuine curiosity. A study conducted in July 2024 by the Pollster Research Institute shows that modern masculinity increasingly goes beyond traditional patterns.
The report reveals an image of a man undergoing a transformation – someone who is increasingly aware that strength is not just about muscle and control but also about peace, maturity and emotional balance. Some 63% of respondents consider maturity to be the most important masculine trait, and more than half point to wisdom and composure. At the same time, the belief that “a man should not show weakness” is still alive, held by one in four respondents.
The results show that Polish men increasingly want to talk about their emotions but lack the space to do so. Although 79% of young men declare a readiness to talk about feelings, more than half admit they have no one with whom they can share such thoughts. There is also a disconnect between declared strength and daily wellbeing; although most men rate their lives positively, many do not always find the space to care for their physical and mental health.
Many men also feel significant pressure regarding sexual performance. More than half say they have experienced erectile difficulties and 30% report having sex less often than they would like. At the same time, over 30% of young men have never consulted a specialist, which reflects a persistent taboo around sexual health.

The study results clearly prove that the concept of masculinity is currently being redefined – caught between the traditional need for toughness and a new openness to emotion and closeness. The report highlights men who increasingly want to be themselves, rather than just “meeting expectations”.
