Health Grant
The Health Grant is a competition organised by Gedeon Richter in cooperation with the Institute of Patient Rights and Health Education.
Its purpose is to recognise and promote organisations that deliver, or plan to deliver, projects improving quality of life and wellbeing in the field of women’s health. Selected organisations receive funding to implement the winning projects.
Winners of the 5th edition:
Pokonać Endometriozę Foundation
Awarded for the project “EndoEducation for Schools”, focused on educating pupils, teachers and parents about endometriosis, promoting early diagnosis, improving reproductive health, raising awareness and supporting young people in gaining access to medical care.
Polish Society of Public Health
Awarded for the project “Motherhood Is Possible”, aimed at raising awareness of a little-known treatment method for severe cervical insufficiency, supporting the ability to carry a pregnancy to term (procedure involves placing a stitch/tape).
The awards were presented on 10 February 2025 during the 19th Patient Organisations Forum.
